INFORMATION ABOUT THE UNIT

Below, you will find a detailed step-by-step guide for the assembly and disassembly of your vehicle. This guide is designed to help you perform all the necessary steps easily and efficiently. Please note that this guide is tailored to the standard model of your AK City Tourer. Variations may occur if you have a customized vehicle. ASSEMBLY

Please note that the images start at Step 1, which shows the vehicle closed and parked.
Step 1 - Alignment
Move your vehicle into the desired final position, turn off the engine, and ensure that you have enough space to open the side panel.
Step 2 - Stabilize
If necessary, crank down the support legs at the lower rear of the unit to provide additional stabilization.
Step 3 - Side Panel
Unlock the latches and fastenings of the side panel and carefully open it.
Step 4 - Sliding Door
Unlock the sliding door and slowly open it.
Step 5 - Step
Activate the toggle switch for the step at the control console to extend the step.
Step 6 - Power
Connect the supplied cable to an external power outlet and to the unit.
Step 7 - 3D Logo
If applicable, extend your 3D roof logo by pressing the toggle switch for the logo on the control console downward.
Step 8 - Devices
Turn on all the electrical devices you need in the unit.

Disassembly

Please note that the images start at Step 1, which shows the left button being pressed.
Step 1 - Devices
Turn off all the electrical devices you have turned on in the unit.
Step 2 - 3D Logo
If extended, retract the 3D roof logo by pressing the toggle switch for the logo on the control console upward.
Step 3 - Step
Activate the toggle switch for the step at the control console to retract the step.
Step 4 - Sliding Door
Slowly close the sliding door and lock it with the corresponding key.
Step 5 - Side Hatch
Carefully close the side hatch, secure the corresponding latches, and lock them with the locks.
Step 6 - Support Feet
If extended, crank the support feet of your unit at the lower rear side back up to avoid damage.
Step 7 - Power
Disconnect the power supply from your vehicle and stow the cable inside.

Where can I find the crank for the support feet or the power cable for the unit?

 

Both the crank for the support feet and the power cable for the unit are typically stored under the passenger seat in the driver's cabin at the time of delivery. However, they can also be stored in the compartment above the power connection if desired. This compartment can be opened with the provided square key.

Where can I find the fuse box?

 

The fuse box of your unit is located either in one of the built-in cabinets or occasionally in the driver's cabin behind the driver's seat. To operate all devices, all fuses should be switched on.

Both an HDMI and a USB port, along with a 230V power outlet, are located on the footboard under your bench seat. Here, you can conveniently work from the table, charge your laptop, and transmit your screen simultaneously.
